Lighthouse Bollard Light – Professional In-Ground Root Mount System
This professional and robust commercial in ground bollard light has a Lighthouse head and a graphite black finish. This Professional ‘In-Ground’ Root Mount System is for areas needing extra security. Replacing the standard tubular body and mounting base, the root mount bollards have longer bodies. At least 400mm secures / concretes in place without losing any height above ground. A strong mounting bar inside the tubular body acts as an anchor when set into concrete, whilst an optional secure cable outlet allows easy wiring after the bollard is fixed in place.
A choice of height is available: 600mm, 800mm or 1000mm – a height suitable for every application such as driveways, paths and sectioned areas.
A matte garden green or graphite black finish is available as well as a choice of height (600mm, 800mm or 1000mm). Ideal for driveways and paths, there are also 3 styles of head to choose from: ‘domed’, ‘pillar’ or ‘flat’ top.
The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are heavy duty die-cast aluminium. All screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.
The Lighthouse has a clear, high quality UV stop PC diffuser surrounding the centre section of the head. This enables an even all-round light dispersal and adds protection to the bulb installed. Further protection is given by internal silver aluminium louvres. These add character to the in ground bollard light, and importantly, act as anti-glare shields.
Distance between illuminated bollards – how far?
The distance between bollards varies depending on the bulb’s light output. Also the type of area, and how much light you require. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project, based on our recommended bulbs providing a constant light between each fitting:
