The Signa is perfect for businesses looking to ensure their signage remains visible at dusk. Installation is simple with versatile surface mounting. It is a durable, IP65, high output solar sign light, producing up to 720 lumens. This 6W solar light incorporates long life LEDs in cool white (5000K), the perfect colour temperature to compliment signage. 45 LED chips are encased in a frosted, polycarbonate lens. Each LED chip is surrounded by a convex dome to focus the light projection. Alongside the Elite LEDs, designed to last for up to 50,000 hours, are the reliable monocrystalline solar panel and replaceable LiFePO4 Lithium Ion Phosphate Batteries. These are also expected to last many years.

This adjustable solar sign light also doubles up as a multipurpose solar wall light. It is perfect for illuminating signs / billboards, as well as above doorways in darker evenings or as a wall wash. This is due to it’s sleek design and downwards projection. Alternatively, these solar downlights will create dramatic, decorative lighting effects on walls and fences.

The solar sign light benefits from an on/off button located at the back of the fitting for storage. Upgrade to a remote control for brightness adjustability and timer mode functionality. The remote control allows for choice between 4hr, 6hr, 8hr, 10hr and ‘dusk to dawn’ timer modes.

MOUNTING

The sturdy, 3mm thick, multiway mounting brackets allow various mounting options. Two separate 180mm L shaped mounting arms attach to the luminaire via M5 stainless steel socket screws, and in turn to the front of the mounting surface. Additional mounting plates are also provided. They act as a riser for clearing graphics and allowing mounting from behind a sign, so as not to interfere with frontal graphics. Alternatively, use as an additional mounting support.

There are 3 mounting positions on the 180mm L shaped mounting arms in 27mm increments (centre to centre). As a result, the projection of light is adjustable; either a snug fit to the surface for a more focused beam, or further away for a more broad beam. One Signa will illuminate a sign up to 1.2m width. Mounted 500-550mm apart, the Signa creates a continuous pool of light across the surface. This is ideal for covering larger signs and walls with the perfect cross section.

CHARGING INFORMATION

The Signa LED Solar Sign Light will be fully charged with 6-8 hours of full sunshine, resulting in the illumination of signs during darker evenings, This is especially important in winter when darkness draws in during usual business hours, as early as 4pm. The shape of the Signa doubles the size of the solar panel compared to the LED strip for optimum charging.

Following a gradual dimming sequence, from 100% down to 30% brightness, a full capacity battery produces up to 23 hours illumination time (2-3 nights with no further charge). Naturally the battery will re-charge every day in sunlight so will extend illumination with an almost indefinite supply of power. During prolonged, dull weather periods, namely in winter, illumination time will decrease, timing dependent on the amount of charge received in daytime. Although, the Signa will usually continue to illuminate every evening for a number of hours.
