The Guarda Solar Path Light is the ultimate vandal resistant design, made of durable die cast aluminium with solid mounting options. In addition, the 210cm diameter Guarda incorporates a high impact, crystalised polycarbonate lens along with aluminium struts further which protect this from damage.

Both Warm White and Daylight White 2W Epistar LEDs generate a first-class output with over 100 lumens per watt for the surface mounted Guarda. The Guarda In-ground Root Mount System has a CCT colour switch, enabling a choice of warm or daylight white, which can be changed at any time.

The Guarda is an ideal vandal resistant solar bollard for high traffic areas, particularly in areas where the bollard is more susceptible to malicious or accidental damage. It is both simple and safe to install, as well as versatile when it comes to positioning, especially in comparison to mains fittings. Environmentally friendly solar lighting converts natural energy into electrical current, with the added benefit of it being completely free to run.

Functionality

At dusk, the Guarda solar light will illuminate at full brightness, and then follow a gradual dimming sequence until it reaches 30% brightness after 5 hours. From then on it will remain at 30% until dawn. This time control sequence alongside the substantial monocrystalline solar panel and replaceable LifePO4 lithium battery will result in the battery charge being retained for longer. This is particularly effective during duller periods where constant full brightness solar lights would exhaust the charge fairly quickly. The on/off switch is concealed by a waterproof plug / bung.

Professional In-Ground Root Mount System

For the professional root mount system, the tubular body of the solar bollard is increased in length. It is installed buy burying 300mm in-ground and setting into concrete, creating 0.8m solar bollard above ground. An anchor bar is supplied to ensure sturdy anchorage. As a result, this is the most robust way of mounting creating an extremely vandal resistant solar bollard. Alternatively, a surface mount is available with a substantial, external base of 258mm diameter.

Surface Mount

Mount this vandal resistant solar bollard to any flat surface via the 258mm external surface mount. Expanding anchor bolts supplied. Alternatively, use J-Bolts to mount into wet concrete (sold separately).
