This 240v – 12v waterproof transformer is for use with 12v Garden Lights. Hardwire the 3 core rubber waterproof input cable to the mains. The 240v mains input then converts to 12v AC output via the transformer. Lumena transformers are available with a choice of 2 core rubber output cable. The output cable is detachable and connects to the transformer with a 2 pin plug, secured with a threaded cap. The output cable is then wired to the 12v fittings via a waterproof junction box.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The output of this transformer is A/C, therefore may not be suitable for some 12v LED systems. All Lumena 12v LED lamps and fittings will work with this transformer. The total wattage of a transformer should NEVER exceed the transformer’s wattage. We highly recommend not loading more than 90% of the transformer’s capacity, e.g. up to 18W on a 20W transformer. Lumena 12V transformers perform better over longer periods of time when loaded between 66% and 85% of their capacity.

The output cable is detachable and connects to the transformer with a 2 pin plug, secured with a threaded cap. The output cable is then wired to the 12v fittings via a waterproof junction box.
Lumena 240v-12v transformers are compatible with dimmable LED bulbs. Whilst the transformers themselves don’t have an adjustable switch or dial, the driver units are compatible with some remote lighting systems, such as Light Symphony.
